New FIATs coming our way

It seems as if all eyes have been on FIAT lately, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Some automakers may cringe at the thought of being the center of attention, but not FIAT. The Italian brand loves having consumers and fans watching it, waiting for the next big thing to come off of the production line. Now consumers shopping for a new or used FIAT 500 near Chicago can look forward to FIAT's next step.
FIAT SpA's Alfa Romeo is making its way back to the U.S. market, with a little help from the 4C compact sports car. In fact, the 4C will serve as the unit's first model targeted for sale in the country in almost 20 years. Two decades later, FIAT is taking the automotive industry by the horns and is confident that the comeback will be a huge success.
FIAT Chief Executive Officer, Sergio Marchionne, said that the 4C will go on sale in North America by the end of next year. The Alfa Romeo 4C trademark will cover accessories such as clothing and toys, in addition to the vehicle and parts. Marchionne plans to remake the model into a true luxury brand to compete with top competitors by revamping the 4C. He anticipates that the varied production line will attract consumers to the brand, from compact cars to full-size SUVs. One thing for sure is, Marchionne will have to do his research in order to hit the nail on the head. In any case, we share 2012 FIAT 500 Abarth shoppers' enthusiasm and can't wait to see what new inventions will enter our showrooms and lots.Tags: used FIAT 500 Chicago
