FIAT brings more options to U.S. consumers

Consumers who closely follow the automobile industry may have noticed the little Italian flair that made its way to the United States. Chicago-area FIAT car shoppers browsing our inventories have fulfilled their curiosities by test driving the 2012 FIAT 500 subcompact model and enjoyed their experiences. But what if FIAT offered more models for other segments?

FIAT wants to earn a strong presence in the U.S. market, and in order to do that, they have to offer more body styles to appeal to all types of consumers. Our team here at Fields FIAT of Highland Park is very excited that the automaker is one step ahead of us, and is currently working on a wagon version of the 500.

The wagon's release marks FIAT'S continued strategy to accomplish higher sales. The bigger proportions, increased cargo space, and FIAT style render the wagon a strong competitor against the competition, and is sure to gain popularity among consumers in the long-run.

The first consumers to get a peek at the wagon concept in person are those who attend the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next month. Unfortunately, a name for the model has yet to be announced. In any case, it will be produced at FIAT's Serbia-based plant.

We know that FIAT is slowly but surely making its way to the U.S. market, but we can't help but feel anxious to see what they have to offer within the next year. In any case, surely we will do our best to be patient.
