FIAT + Maserati = one hot model

After the latest Super Bowl commercials featuring the very attractive Romanian model Catrinel Menghia, consumers can't seem to get FIAT off their minds - and who could blame them? The 2012 FIAT 500 Abarth in itself would make anyone drool (and not just because of the lovely Catrinel). The 2012 500 serves as the Italian brand's entry-level model for the U.S. market, but we have a feeling that Chicago FIAT car shoppers are waiting for the next vehicles to come their way.

Spectators who attended the most recent Geneva Motor Show got a sneak peak at just that - the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati, based on the 500C Abarth. Auto-savvy consumers would be right to guess that the Abarth engineers collaborated with Maserati to unleash this model, and 2012 FIAT 500 owners will be understandably curious as soon as they read about it.

Take the latest description, for example, stating that this limited edition FIAT model "epitomizes sheer elegance united to the comfort of a gran turismo, but with the handling of a car fit to take to the road every day." After hearing that portrayal, it's hard not to mosey on down to your favorite FIAT dealer (and yes, we mean Fields FIAT of Highland Park, of course) to take a closer look.

The model is powered by a 1.4L turbocharged engine that produces 180 horsepower and paired with an electrically-operated manual transmission. While we would love to share more details with our fans and readers, we would rather see them in person in our showrooms. So come on down and consult one of our sales team members so we can get this party started.
