Consumers in the United States have a plethora of vehicles and brands to choose from, causing somewhat of a challenge when it comes to shopping for a new or used car. And now in recent months, car shoppers have noticed another option to choose from - FIAT. The little Italian flair made its way to the U.S. market about half a year ago, thanks to Chrysler. Since then it has caught the eye with the help of Super Bowl commercials and a noteworthy lineup.
Now the Italian automaker will have another product to show off to U.S. consumers - the Abarth 695 Maserati Edition. The sporty little hatchback equipped with the ultimate gran turismo elegance made its debut at the Mile Miglia in Italy this weekend. Consumers shopping for a 2012 FIAT 500 Abarth definitely wish they could get their hands on the model - and our sales team shares the curiosity.
This isn't the first time FIAT has teamed up with a mega-luxury brand to pump up its lineup. A few years ago, the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari was introduced to European consumers and took the Abarth model to new performance levels. With the Maserati Edition, it's all about style: the classic Neptune design, additional badges and luxurious touches are all over this special edition model - not to mention a three-layer paint scheme called Pontevecchio Bordeux.
Unfortunately, consumers searching for a new or used FIAT 500 Lounge in Schaumburg will have to drool from afar. Chances are the model won't make its way to the U.S. Nevertheless, the FIAT Abarth 695 Maserati Edition is definitely a model worth writing home about.
