Summer is almost here! Students are getting antsy to leave their classrooms, while others are getting the grill ready for outdoor barbecuing. Here at Fields FIAT of Highland Park, we are preparing for summer in another way - more customers in our showrooms and lots. Car shoppers tend to do their browsing during warmer weather - and who could blame them? Nevertheless, we are very excited to have more consumers into our dealership, and are confident that they will not be disappointed by what they see.

FIAT has sure made quite the impression on the U.S. automotive market. It seems like just yesterday that the Italian automaker took the plunge and reemerged in the United States, and here at Fields FIAT of Highland Park, we've enjoyed every minute of it. American consumers have taken a liking to FIAT so much that the brand might be moving their headquarters.

If you've been keeping up with FIAT, or the automotive industry in general, you may have noticed the continuous stream of models coming off of the FIAT product line. The engineers and designers at FIAT are hard at work extending the car brand's lineup - not only with different size options, but also by dropping some well-known names as well.

Three ways to drive green in a FIAT

If you didn't know, Earth Day was this past Monday, and many environmentally-conscious people did their part to practice being "green." But why only for one day, or one week? The environment needs our help all the time, and as a driver, there are things you can do to travel the eco-friendly way. Here at Fields FIAT of Highland Park, we are happy to share some tips with new FIAT drivers in Highland Park?

How FIAT is helping the environment

Ever since it first emerged onto the U.S. market just a couple of years ago, FIAT has been hard at work garnering attention from consumers, critics, and the competition. While the brand strives to produce vehicles that satisfy customers, FIAT also wants to help improve the environment. For example, the company's latest project has made some big strides in terms of sustainability.

FIAT has been hard at work creating a name for itself here in the United States. With barely five years on the automotive market, we think that the car company has done a fine job getting noticed by consumers and critics alike. Now that FIAT is here to stay, the engineers and designers are working on extending the lineup.

FIAT has made quite an impression during its short time here in the U.S. automotive market. Despite the few available options in its lineup, the automaker offers product that are worth a gander. Take the 2013 FIAT 500 Abarth, for example. While there was little to improve from the 2012 model year version, the engineers and designers at FIAT found a way.

You've heard about the auto shows, the special appearances, and the model lineups from the newbie in the automotive industry - FIAT, of course. And as you begin your car-shopping adventure, you may want to consider stopping by Fields FIAT of Highland Park to look for FIAT cars near Chicago. However, you may be thinking "well, why FIAT?" Just take Kelley Blue Book's word for it.

Believe it or not, spring is officially here. For FIAT drivers in Chicago, it certainly may not seem that way with the cold winds and 20-something degree weather. Nevertheless, warmer weather is just around the corner (or so we hope), which brings about different driving conditions. Luckily for any consumers who might be unprepared for such changes, we have a few tips to share to prepare your 2013 FIAT 500 Abarth for the new spring season.

If you're an avid reader of this blog, or have been following FIAT since its reintroduction onto the U.S. market just a few years ago, then you probably know about every variant of the 2013 FIAT 500 that has made its way off of the production line and into our dealership lots. But how can you know if one of these versions is the right one for you??
